Daniel Shiffman works as an Assistant Arts Professor at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Daniel will speak about computational media and his work with Processing, the open source programming language and environment created by Casey Reas and Ben Fry. He will demonstrate the "Most Pixels Ever" library which his students use to create real-time software for a 120 foot wide video wall and preview his upcoming book The Nature of Code (self-published via Kickstarter) about simulating natural phenomenon in Processing.
